![]() I started with the lightest colours (numbers 1 & 2) and finished with black (5). I picked a picture and chose 5 colours: yellow, orange, light brown, dark brown and black. Since all elements are circular, it’s not always obvious what the final picture will be, which is another thing that I like about this book. We don’t get the instructions for what colours to use though – instead, the only guidance is to use a gradient of 5 colours that go from the lightest to the darkest. The principle of the book that I’d bought is similar – every picture consists of elements marked with numbers 1-5. I think most of us remember colouring books from our childhoods, where the picture was divided into areas marked with numbers and every number had a colour assigned that you needed to use to colour that area. This time, I bought an interesting colouring book. It’s one of my favourite shops to visit when I’m bored, I always leave with a bag of stuff – some of it useful, some of it not so much, but always something that can keep me busy for a while. Bits of homeware, party supplies, arts and crafts supplies, toys and sweets. They sell… random things is the best way to describe them. I found this book in a shop called the Flying Tiger – they have stores all over Europe, in the US and in a few Asian countries. Recently, I came across an interesting colouring book with a twist.
